Frequently asked questions
- Can I compress several images at once?
- Yes. Add as many files as you like and they are processed one after another, with a per-file before and after size shown for each.
- Will compression visibly degrade my images?
- At the default quality setting most photographs are visually indistinguishable from the original at normal viewing size. Lower settings trade more visible quality for a smaller file, and you can compare the result before downloading.
- Is there a file size limit?
- No. The tool imposes no cap. Very large images use more memory, so extremely high-resolution files may be slow on low-memory devices.
