Terms of use
Last updated
These terms apply to your use of Twinster Toolbox, operated by Twinster Enterprises LLC. By using the site you agree to them.
What the service is
Twinster Toolbox provides free file tools that run in your web browser. All processing happens on your own device. We do not receive, store, or process your files at any point.
No account, no charge
The tools are free to use. There is no account, no subscription, and no paid tier. Nothing on this site takes payment.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to process them.
- You must not use the site to process content that is unlawful, or in a way that infringes someone else’s rights.
- You must not attempt to disrupt the site or interfere with other people’s use of it.
Keep your originals
This one matters practically rather than legally. Always keep the original file until you have opened the output and confirmed it is what you wanted. Any file processing can produce an unexpected result, and once you have deleted an original it is gone.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, without any warranty. We do not guarantee that a tool will produce a particular result, that it will work with every file, or that the site will always be available.
Some operations are inherently lossy. Compressing an image discards detail; compressing a PDF by rasterising it removes the selectable text layer. Where a tool makes a trade-off like that, the page says so, and it is your decision whether the result is acceptable.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Twinster Enterprises LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, including loss of data. Since the service is free and we never hold your files, you should treat the output as something to verify rather than something to rely on unchecked.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Advertising
The site carries third-party advertising. We do not control the content of those ads and are not responsible for the products or sites they lead to. See the privacy policy for how advertising cookies work.
Intellectual property
The site’s design, text and code belong to Twinster Enterprises LLC. Your files remain entirely yours — we never receive them, so we could not claim any interest in them even if we wanted to. The tools are built on open source libraries, which remain under their own licences.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The revision date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
